We don't use tracking cookies or analytics that identify you. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

The contact form collects your name, your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you and, if you want, to talk about working together. It goes to our email inbox and nowhere else. We don't add you to a mailing list and we don't share it. We keep it while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back, then delete it. Email us if you'd like it gone sooner.

We'll hold your business contact details, correspondence, proposals and invoices for as long as we work together and for up to six years afterwards, because tax rules ask us to.

When we build or run a system for a client, that system usually contains other people's data: your staff, your subcontractors, your suppliers, your customers. In that case you are the controller and we act as your processor. We only use it to do the work you've asked for. It stays in accounts and systems that belong to you wherever practical. We don't sell it, share it or use it for anything else. What we do with it, who on our side can see it and what happens when the work ends is set out in your written agreement with us, which takes priority over this page.

Client systems typically run in the client's own cloud accounts. Our own records live with reputable UK, EU or US providers under standard contractual safeguards.

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within a month. If you're not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
